Q1. Am I
able to go to the government office and process my own permit?
A1. Yes, however, you should expect long lines and the possibility
of being turned away because of paperwork mishaps. Please know
that our experience allows us to call certain officials prior
to heading to the office so that your issues can be taken care
of quickly.
Q2. What
does Perez Permits need from me in order to get a permit?
A2. Each jurisdiction is different, however, we will need the
address, owner's information and a description of the work.
We will also need construction or design plans showing what
work will be performed and a check for the county fees.
Q3. Does Perez Permits fill out the paperwork or do I?
A3. Once we have received all of the above information from
you we take the time to fill out all necessary paperwork and
ask further questions so it is completed properly the first
time.
Q4. What do I do if I have already started construction
and I don't have a permit?
A4. Stop working immediately and call Perez Permits to get a
permit. If you continue working, it could
cause you to incur hefty fines and "stop-work" orders.
